So hi! I'm Dr. Madhuri, an Ayurvedic Doctor by profession and an absolute nature lover at heart!
After working for over 2 decades as a doctor I realised that our generation was getting disconnected from Ayurved and nature. I always wanted to introduce Ayurved to the future generation in a way where they would enjoy it and what better way than skincare!
But somehow I never acted upon it, until the pandemic hit!
They say good things come out of bad and Plantessentials was just that!

2020 was a tough year BUT a very productive one too!

In the very beginning of the pandemic, shortage of something as basic as soap in the market was beyond frustrating! Not having access to basic necessities compelled me to look elsewhere, to find alternatives and thats when I decided to use vegan Ayurvedic recipes and make products at home for my skincare routine.
As this journey progressed and the possibilities unfolded, I realised that this was worth sharing with the world!
Ayurved is such a vast world that you can never learn enough and keeping it restricted to just medicine would be the worst thing to do!
I started making facial soaps, masks, scrubs and the love for the process kept growing!
This is what kept me connected to my roots, allowed me to use my professional knowledge and create something that brought sheer joy!
